About the Project

Understanding and developing Slow Tourism

Agents of Change explores how tourism can become
slower, more sustainable and more connected to
local communities.

The project examines values and attitudes related
to sustainable tourism, develops educational
opportunities and creates innovative Slow Tourism
products together with regions, communities and
tourism actors.

Through research, international collaboration,
Learning Tours and online learning opportunities,
the project connects academic knowledge with
practical experiences across Europe.

The first Work Package ensures effective
coordination, communication and cooperation between
all project partners throughout the project period.

Values and Impact Assessment of Slow Tourism

This Work Package investigates values, attitudes
and impacts connected to Slow Tourism and
sustainable tourism development.

WP3 · Innovation

Developing Future Slow Tourism and its Products

This Work Package focuses on developing future
Slow Tourism concepts and products together with
regions, local communities and tourism actors.

WP4 · Education

Developing Online Learning Material and Community

This Work Package creates digital learning
materials, educational resources and a community
for exchanging knowledge about Slow Tourism.
